A bit more than halfway into 2014, we’ve seen a string of crowdfunding success stories emerge from Boston’s tech sector.

The region that previously launched the Form 1 3D printer and the 3Doodler to the world via crowdfunding has so far this year given us Jibo the social robot, surveillance-proof email, an inexpensive next-generation security system, and plenty more through Kickstarter and Indiegogo.

Click through the gallery above to see the Boston area’s 10 largest crowdfunding campaigns in tech so far this year.

The campaigns include eight on Kickstarter and two on Indiegogo. They’ve combined to raise a total of $3.6 million — and counting; two of the three largest projects (Jibo and Blink) both have time left in the campaigns.
