Tishman Speyer is listing its under-construction Pier 4 office building in Boston’s Seaport District for sale, and the price could top $420 million, capital-markets industry newsletter Real Estate Alert has reported.
The 13-story office building near the former home of legendary Boston seafood restaurant Anthony’s Pier 4 was designed by Boston-based architecture firm Elkus Manfredi Architects. It’s planned as the future headquarters for global education technology firm Cengage and management consulting firm Boston Consulting Group. The office is slated to open this summer.
Newmark Knight Frank has the listing, Real Estate Alert said.
Were the 372,000-square-foot building to be sold for more than $420 million, that would translate to more than $1,100 per square foot — a rarity in Boston.
The office is being developed alongside an ultra-luxury waterfront condominium building, a nine-story, 106-unit complex where two-bedroom units will be priced starting at $2 million.
