Bluebikes’ bike sharing program will expand to Everett this spring.

Yes, Everett will soon have a lot of bike rental options, joining at that point which had been a fairly exclusive club of Bluebikes communities, formerly known as Hubway. The publicly owned bicycle rental program has been operating in Boston since 2011 and in Cambridge, Somerville and Brookline since 2012.

Although it has expanded in these cities, the Bluebikes have not spread beyond their borders – until now. In the spring, Everett will open up to 11 new bike rental facilities.
