The Harris Poll today released its annual roundup of the strongest brands around the world in nearly 100 categories — and three Massachusetts companies made the list.
The 2016 Harris Poll EquiTrend Study is based on a sample of 97,120 U.S. consumers ages 15 and over surveyed online, in English, between Dec. 22, 2015 and Feb. 1, 2016. The survey took an average of 30 minutes to complete. The total number of brands rated was 3,837, according to a release.

- Fidelity Investments of Boston in the financial services category.
- Dunkin’ Donuts of Canton in the restaurants category.
- T.J. Maxx, owned by Framingham-based the TJX Cos. Inc., in the retail category
