This course is intended to provide students the tools needed to understand the global financial markets and the global business environment. Topics covered include the environment of multinational financial management; international financial markets with an emphasis on foreign exchange markets; international flow of funds; relationships between exchange rates and economic variables; derivatives used for hedging and speculating in the foreign exchange markets; and interest rate parity and arbitrage.
