New Year’s Eve is fast approaching, making it time to get your plans in order. How are you going to ring in 2019? From First Night Boston to children’s New Year’s Eve events, an ’80s prom and more, we’ve pulled together 20 events you’re sure to enjoy. Check them out:

First Night Boston

There’s no better way to ring in the New Year than at Boston’s First Night activities. This huge celebration, with ice sculptures, a pyrotechnics display, music and more begins at noon. Live broadcasts of the events can be found on necn, NBC10 Boston and Telemundo Boston.

Middlesex Fells StoryWalk It’s Winter!

Grab the family for a StoryWalk at the Middlesex Fells featuring “It’s Winter!” by Linda Glaser. 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., John Bottume House, 4 Woodland Road, Stoneham.

Blue Man Group at the Charles Playhouse

Combining music, technology and comedy, Blue Man Group is a great way to kick off your New Year’s Eve. Tickets start at $49. Performances today at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., Charles Playhouse, 74 Warrenton St., Boston.

Noon Year’s Eve Party at LEGOLAND Boston

New Year’s Eve Ice Sculpture Stroll

Boston Harbor Now’s Ice Sculpture Stroll returns. The sixth annual stroll features 16 sculptures along the downtown waterfront and Harborwalk. 1 to 4 p.m., Boston Waterfront.

NYE at Wachusett Mountain

The world-famous, light and sound show Blink! continues for one last night at Faneuil Hall. Featuring the signature holiday tree at Marketplace Center joined by other trees and lights throughout the property, this year’s show features six holiday favorites. New Year’s Eve Family Block Party

New Year’s Eve Midnight Harbor Fireworks

Celebrate the official start of the New Year with two fireworks displays over Boston Harbor. View them in the North End and the Seaport. The midnight harbor fireworks are made possible through the efforts of the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park, Boston Harbor Now, the Wharf District Council, the City of Boston and businesses all around the Harbor.
